DxB – What is your experience?
In the digital world – excellent design and outstanding user experience are often a prerequisite for the sustainable success of business models. Both often require the courage to reduce – this courage will be rewarded by an improved conversion rate and ultimately more sales and profits.
DxB – What drives innovation?
Innovation cannot be imposed onto a company from above. It rather needs a nourishing environment a lived culture where innovation can grow organically. Companies like Google, Amazon and Apple have the innovation gene in their DNA and are therefore particularly successful. Furthermore they had and still have the courage to break new ground and to question the existing: business models, customer experience, but also design approaches – and dare to create change in a radically innovative manner.
DxB – What is the future?
The sky is the limit. If Moore’s Law should also apply in the future, according to which the computing power of processors doubles every 18 months, there will be computers with the power of the human brain in approximately 10 to 15 years. Probably these computers will also be technically able to independently create new designs from scratch or to optimize a design in terms of business models or any other parameter. But where are the limits? In the intercultural understanding of design? In a limited algorithms creativity? Or in the estimation of design quality? It will be exciting!
